It's funny how quickly things can change in just a few short weeks with a tidal wave of stories. Our Twilight Weekly Wrap began as a round up of news surrounding New Moon and the Twilight saga and now is more of weekly example of how ridiculous it's all becoming. Still, despite a lot of hot air type news surrounding Twilight and New Moon, and actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, there were a few noteworthy casting additions to the sequel, appearances and various tidbits. For the real news, though, you'll have to play your own version of Twilight and New Moon "Where's Waldo?"

Twilight Soundtrack #3 on Billboard

Proving that the momentum and demand is still holding strong, the Twilight Soundtrack clocked in at the #3 spot this past week on the Billboard charts behind the pop compilation "Now 30" and "Hannah Montana: The Movie Soundtrack". Twilight Saga fans snapped up the tunes from the first movie amid the frenzied buzz for the sequel New Moon, which has fast become the talk of the internet town.

Jamie Campbell-Bower Cast as Volturi Leader, Caius

Fans finally got some real New Moon news this past week when British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower revealed to the BBC that he'll be playing the Italian Volturi leader Caius in the Twilight sequel New Moon, currently filming in Vancouver, British Columbia. Interestingly enough, Campbell-Bower also revealed that he knows who some of the other un-named cast members in New Moon are but can't release it to the public. The most grounded and welcome New Moon statement we've seen in weeks came when Campbell-Bower commented to the BBC on the many speculative Twilight stories being reported about New Moon. "But go online and have a look at the rumours. They're all false. You're putting me in a terrible situation."

New Moon Poster at ShoWest

Although cool for Twilight fans of New Moon, this one's a bit anti-climactic. Ed Douglas over at ComingSoon gave a great round-up of early poster artwork for a number of upcoming movies seen at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas. Interestingly enough, one poster that the ComingSoon gang snapped was the artwork for Twilight's New Moon presence at the convention. Since the logo art for New Moon has already been revealed, the poster simply looks like a larger version of the previously released logo and not a new poster filled with New Moon imagery that we'd like to see. Still, any New Moon poster at an official event is better than no New Moon poster at all.

Twilight Wins Best Book at Kids' Choice Awards

This past week saw Jacob Black actor Taylor Lautner accept the Kids' Choice award for Best Book from presenters Hugh Jackman and Sandra Bullock, as Twilight won the award for favorite page-turner. Lautner was on-hand to accept the Twilight award on behalf of author Stephenie Meyer who couldn't make the Kids' Choice ceremony. While on stage in front of hundreds of screaming fans, Lautner promised New Moon fans they'll love the upcoming sequel.

Taylor Lautner Returns to Vancouver:

After subbing for Twilight author Stephenie Meyer at the Kid's Choice Awards, New Moon actor Taylor Lautner returned to Vancouver's YVR airport and someone had a camera.

Twilight Production Stalkers

Fans are running wild in Vancouver trying to get a glimpse of various New Moon production locations within the city while also keeping their eyes peeled for stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. And since Lautner and Stewart were seen having lunch together and walking the streets in downtown Vancouver together, it MUST mean they're a couple. Please.

Robert Pattinson Talks Loss and Reconciliation

In an interview with Reuters, Twilight vamp Robert Pattinson gave insight into the layers of New Moon as compared to Twilight and what fans may be expecting from a perceived story about love. Pattinson told Reuters that New Moon deals mainly with "loss and reconciliation," is greatly depressing, and doesn't quite come full circle in its reconciliation aspects of the story. Pattinson also mentioned that given the more depressing layers within New Moon that it's odd since there's so much demand for a love story.

Supermodel Noot Seear Cast as Heidi in New Moon

After so much text was wasted on the rumors that 90210 doll AnnaLynne McCord was up for the role of Volturi Fisher Heidi in New Moon, many outlets were hornswaggled by a swirl of false information. Director Chris Weitz faked right of Twilight then pivoted left off of New Moon and dove into the Twilight end-zone with a quarterback sneak by casting 25 year old Canadian supermodel Noot Seear as Heidi.

Robert Pattinson Injured - Robert Pattinson Not Injured

On March 24 word came down the New Moon pike that Robert Pattinson was injured on-set when a gust of wind sent a metal sign straight for the noggin of Robert Pattinson, smoking his turnip and knocking him to the ground, which allegedly stopped production. On March 25 word came down the New Moon pike from the actor's rep that Robert Pattinson was not hit at all and that the earlier story was completely false.

On April 2 The Deadbolt reports that SOMEONE is allegedly, reportedly, apparently, and obviously lying.
