While The Twilight Saga: New Moon might not have had the "Google" product placement its predecessor Twilight did, it still ranked among the top ten of Google News searches for the year 2009.
According to CNN, "New Moon" was the eighth-most searched search-term in 2009.
New Moon came in behind iconic 2009 incidences and people, including "swing flu," "Susan Boyle," and "Inauguration."
Surprised? Anyone?
Note that the term "New Moon" was independent of the term "Twilight" so that the search numbers were specifically for the former.
