Confirmed: Christina Ricci will be Rob’s Next Co-star

Yesterday we reported that Christina Ricci would star opposite Robert Pattinson in his upcoming movie ‘Bel Ami’, which starts shooting pretty soon. We were still wondering if it was true, and waiting for official confirmation from another source. Gossip Cop can confirm today through Christina’s reps that she in fact will join Rob in ‘Bel Ami’, along with Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas.

An avalanche of outlets picked up a Production Weekly item that reported Christina Ricci will join Pattinson in the upcoming “Bel Ami.” The speculation has Ricci playing a character named Clotilde in the tale of Georges Duroy (Pattinson) and his corrupt rise to power in Paris.
A lot of people asked Gossip Cop whether the casting rumor was true.
We can confirm that it is.
A rep for Ricci tells Gossip Cop the deal was recently signed.
