ArcCleo's Note: I am really sad about what happened today...Emma Roberts deleted her account because she got unlimited hate tweets...That is not nice....
People have different tastes and therefore different opinions...
We must RESPECT everyone's opinion even if it is different from ours....

It was like a reverse "Take Your Child to Work" Day during Robert Pattinson's appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" last night. Rob, making his first of many talk show appearances on the "Eclipse" publicity circuit, spent much of his interview with Jay talking about his folks.

Though he's ultra famous now, Rob seems very close with his parents, especially his dad, whom he emails with frequently and often sends scripts for feedback. "I hope this doesn't embarrass him, but my dad loves sending me emails, which I love, love getting," Rob confessed.

To illustrate his father's fondness for waxing poetic via email, Rob pulled out his phone and read a recent message aloud: "Dear Rob, I've been thinking about gestures. And a good one, in my opinion, is to kiss a lady's hand. It's very romantic and refined. Offer a hand, ostensibly to shake, and then to kiss. I impressed your mother that way."

Rob would do well to take his father's advice — Papa Pattinson seems like a sweet, thoughtful guy. Plus, it obviously works — Rob's mom is a fox.

It was nice to see Rob, who looked dapper in a grey suit with a white shirt and black skinny tie, talk about the people who raised him. Jay said he loves when stars bring their parents along to the show, because it's interesting to see where they come from. Judging from Rob's folks and the loving way he talked about them on national television, it's clear the Pattinsons are a very down-to-earth family.

No matter how close Rob is with his parents, though, there's one thing that would make mostly anyone blush — talking about being naked. Rob told Jay his mom and dad seemed okay with their son taking of his clothes in the name of cinema. "I mean, they've seen all of it before," he joked.

Rob, on the other hand, wasn't okay with his nudity on the set of "Bel Ami" until he had done a few takes. "The moment where you have to take [your robe] off, it's the most — you're wanting to throw up everything, it seems your whole body starts failing." After he realized the crew guys in the room weren't terribly interested in his nakedness and were doing their best to avert their gazes, he gained a newfound sense of pride. "As soon as that happens, you're like 'Hey, I'm sitting here naked and I want some respect!'"

The "Tonight Show" interview touched on a couple of parent-free topics too, like Rob's car dashboard catching on fire ("The fire eventually went out, so I kept driving to make sure it was OK"), his fear of getting pulled over ("I always think I've done something wrong anyway because I'm not entirely sure how to drive"), and that little movie he's currently promoting, "Eclipse."

Jay asked for a secret about the new movie, but Rob, who seemed way more with it (and way less tired) than on past talk show appearances, couldn't find an answer. "I don't know if anything is secret. It's based on a book," he told Jay.

Later, when an icy Emma Roberts came out and told the crowd that she was not on Team Edward — "I'm sorry, your hair looks wonderful in person, but I'm going to have to say I'm Team Jacob," she told Rob — he came back with the ultimate argument for Team Edward members everywhere: "You've just revealed yourself to have absolutely no taste."
