We've got to say, Eclipse." First he stood in for his CGI wolf so Kristen Stewart could pat his head, and now we find out that he had to lug her around on his back for a full day of filming and ended up with some serious back pain.
"There's a scene where I'm carrying
It's no big deal until you factor in the fact that, in order to get one good edited scene, you need to film a wide shot, close up for each character, back shot, and many more — several takes a piece — until you get enough footage for the final product. When Taylor said that, even with his beefy body, it was painful, we definitely believe him.
But in addition to having to carry KStew's 110 pounds around for a day, he also had to deal with their first kiss in the film being a scene where she punches him. Fortunately, there was no actual contact made between her fist and his face.
"I wanted her just to give me a shot, let her punch me once, and we'll be done," Taylor admitted. "Of course, we couldn't do that, so it was some major technical thing where I had to stand there and pretend I'm getting punched and then ... we had to have her fist punching a bag. It was very technical."
