Here are some tidbits from Day 2 of Alex’s Q&A session at The Official Twilight Convention. I’m going off of memory with the details, so this isn’t going to be perfect…but it gives you an idea.
1. How did you get into acting? He said he moved to San Fransisco and was going to school there. He met some people and was offered a role in The New World. He thought he was just going to be on set for like a day and ended up being there for 3 months.
2. Things he would like to do: write a feature film and sky diving.
3. Name an actor/actress you would like to work with: He said he changes from time to time. But right now, he’d really like to work with Tom Hardy (Inception).
4. Favorite cartoon character: He likes Tom & Jerry.
5. Favorite countries to visit: He got kicked by a kangaroo in Australia. Liked Rome & Brazil. Rome was his favorite.
6. How was it working with Kristen Stewart? He said Kristen is pretty cool. She likes that he would really go for it in his acting. During the campfire scene…there was a part that didn’t make it to the final cut. Everyone was huddled around the campfire and very intent on the stories. But Alex was just kicking back relaxing and had a stick in his mouth. She called him a cocky a$$hole (everyone is laughing), but thought that his take on Paul was pretty cool. She really liked how he worked.
7. Have you had your feet tattoos touched-up? He hasn’t had his feet tats touched up. He said he needs to, but won’t do it before Breaking Dawn because it takes a long time for them to cover up the tattoos as it is.
8. He was also asked if they are going to shoot the scene where Jacob breaks Paul’s nose from the book. He said he is not at liberty to say, but that he does have one day on set where he will be shooting with Taylor all day.
9. He demonstrated the shake weight. There wasn’t one person in the theater who wasn’t laughing!
10. Weirdest thing you’ve signed. He laughed, thought about, and said “no comment”. Hahahaha…sounds like an interesting story!
