With every Twilight movie, I always have a little remorse about scenes or lines from the book that I wish would have made it to the films. Of course we are all anticipating the big stuff in Breaking Dawn: the wedding, honeymoon, birth, Vampire Bella and Renesmee. But with two movies and more time to fill, I am looking forward to the "little stuff" too. Here are some of the scenes I hope make it to the big screen:
BREAKING DAWN PART 1:
1. Jacob & Rosalie
The Blonde jokes, the dog dish, the attack during the c-section--I want to see it all.
2. Edward asks Jacob to offer his "stud services" to Bella
This is probably one of my favorite scenes. The whole confrontation, start to finish, is soooo good.
"I knew I would have to live a lot more, suffer a lot more, to ever understand the searing agony in Edward's eyes....This was the face a man would have if he were burning at the stake."
"I don't care about anything but keeping her alive....She can have puppies, if that's what it takes."....I felt my mouth pop open in shock.....Impossible. Wrong. Sick. Borrowing Bella for the weekends....So messed up. So tempting."
"'The moment Bella's heart stops beating, I will be begging for you to kill me'. 'You won't have to beg long'.... I'm very much counting on that."
3. Rosalie & Bella--BFF
"I didn't see. Not in time....Not until my family met us at the airport and she ran right into Rosalie's arms. Rosalie's!"
4. Jacob's pack
Seth's enthusiam, Leah's hostility, Jacob's defiance--a new pack is formed.
5. Edward discusses PMS.
Silly I know. But I think it's funny that Edward proves himself to be a typical guy. He assumes PMS is to blame for everything. Plus it begs the question, was it more difficult for him to be around Bella during that time of the month? Things that make you go Hmmmm.
BREAKING DAWN PART 2:
1. Bella's first hunt
The chase, the blood, the shredded dress: Edward finds it all so sexy!
2. Bella attacks Jacob
"I leaned into my hunting crouch and took two steps forward toward Jacob. 'You didn't,' I snarled at him. He backed away, palms up trying to reason with me. 'You know it's not something I can control.' 'You stupid mutt! How could you? My baby!"
3. Jacob phasing in front of Charlie
"'He's brave. Brave as you are. Didn't pass out or throw up or anything. I gotta say, I'm impressed. You should've seen his face when I started taking my clothes off, though. Priceless.' Jacob chortled."
4. Vampire Cottage Love Scene
Don't think I need to elaborate on this one!
5. Edward reads Bella's min
"Now you know...No one's ever loved anyone as much as I love you."
I really hope, like in the book, they end the film with this scene. I think it would be such a great way to wrap up the series if they showed scenes from the past movies as flashbacks while he is reading her mind.
