Not that taking off his shirt just to take off his shirt isn't reason enough, but Robert Pattinson is donating the proceeds from an auctioned-off autographed T-shirt to a good cause.
RPattz is the latest celeb to join the slew of stars doing their part for Japanese tsunami relief. The shirt will be auctioned off through the Yoshiki Foundation. His "Water For Elephants" co-star Reese Witherspoon also donated a signed T to the foundation.
For those unfamiliar with the Yoshiki Foundation, it was started by Yoshiki, a member of the Japanese rock band X Japan. He started the foundation in 2010 to give back to the community.
Other famous faces helping the foundation include James Franco, who like Rob and Reese also signed a T-shirt, and comic legend Stan Lee, who autographed several books for the cause. A Red Hot Chili Peppers MTV EMA and a set of front row tickets to a taping of "Chelsea Lately" are also up for grabs. All proceeds will go to YFA Japan Earthquake Relief Auction.
We have to say we're excited by the prospect of owning a shirt touched by Robert Pattinson. And if it means we get to help out a good cause, then don't we all win?
