If your like me, after reading the Twilight Saga over and over you try to find another to tide you over. It took me a really long time to find a romance novel that even compared to Twilight. I was on another Twilight blog site, and found someone posted a review on this book, so i went on Amazon.com and read the reviews then went out and bought it.
This novel (Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater) is about a girl named Grace who was attacked by wolves outside of her home, and her yellow eyed wolf saved her from dying. For the next six years Grace looked outside her window looking for her yellow eyed wolf.
Sam is the wolf that watches Grace, but he has a secret. He is a shape shifter, and unlike Jacob Black, Sam only becomes a wolf in the winter, or colder months, and phases back in the spring to summer.
When Sam and Grace meet, she knows automatically that Sam is her yellow eyed wolf. They fall in love, but Sam has a secret. He thinks that this summer will be his last year has a human, and that he will never become human again. Making Sam and Grace's love impossible.
It is one of the most amazing novels that I've read since reading Twilight. I recommend this book to everyone!
