Well, thanks to a question posed by @KStew441, we checked out @itdakotafanning’s Twitter page.
With the words “Dakota Fanning Official Twitter Page” as her background, @itdakotafanning
has been Tweeting for sometime about everything from “fakes” pretending
to be her to upcoming TV appearances and the “New Moon” premiere.
Yes, there are many “fakes” – and Gossip Cop knows that among them is @itdakotafanning.
In fact, we checked with the real Dakota Fanning’s rep, who told us, “She does not have an account.”

and people still think she is the one...I just checked who was talking to this account - most haven't found out yet she is a fake...and she is not the only one pretending to be dakota...so sad when people do that...there is only one what of preventing this kind of BS...the real actors should get an twitter account and verify it...so no one can steel there ID and post BS about them again...
