With the words “Dakota Fanning Official Twitter Page” as her background, @itdakotafanning has been Tweeting for sometime about everything from “fakes” pretending to be her to upcoming TV appearances and the “New Moon” premiere.

Yes, there are many “fakes” – and Gossip Cop knows that among them is @itdakotafanning.

In fact, we checked with the real Dakota Fanning’s rep, who told us, “She does not have an account.”
