From the Peninsula Daily News, in Washington State:
LAPUSH — Actress Tinsel Korey, who plays a supporting
role in the film, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” gave a Christmas treat
to all of the students at the Quileute Tribal School.
Each student received a personally autographed photo from Korey.
Korey had visited LaPush and Neah Bay in September to talk about acting with the students at the tribal schools.
“Tinsel autographed the photos after her visit in the fall for each
student, and I wanted them to receive them for a special occasion,”
said Jackie Jacobs, tribal publicist.
“I thought it would be a special treat for them to receive them for Christmas.”
Each photo not only was autographed but personalized with each child’s name and a message.
In the movie, Korey plays a pivotal role in showing the danger of
extreme emotions for the werewolves. When Sam first transforms into a
werewolf, he badly scars Emily’s face.
Korey also visited several of the tribal children who attended the November premiere of the movie in Los Angeles.
