As you may know Tinsel uses her celebrity for a good cause. She's been active with the '1 Warm Kid' coat campaign and tweeted about it several times.

Tinsel Korey, who plays the beloved “Emily” in The Twilight Saga movies New Moon, Eclipse and the upcoming Breaking Dawn, is using her newfound popularity to make a difference in the lives of children nationwide.

The first annual “1 Warm Kid” campaign is a coat drive spearheaded by partners P.S. from Aéropostale (the children’s line) and the nonprofit organization One Warm Coat. The campaign runs through October 31, 2010, and P.S. from Aéropostale will match every donated coat, up to 100,000.

Several celebrities, including Tinsel Kory, are supporting the cause by donating signed coats in order to encourage participation. [...]
