Christian @cserratos lands new role on ABC

A slew of pilot casting in the ABC, er, family. First, Angela Bassett has signed on as NYC's first female commissioner for ABC's drama "One Police Plaza." Over on sister network ABC Family, Brenda Hampton's ("Secret Life") new project has cast "Twilight's" Christian Serratos, "Big Time Rush's" Katelyn Tarver, "Juno's" Valerie Tian and "Lie to Me's" Ana Lucasey as four "ethnically diverse" teens at a California private school. Brad Rowe joins them. Finally, the network has also tapped Raven Symone for the multi-camera comedy "The Great State of Georgia" about a wannabe performer from the South trying to make it in NYC. Brock Cuchna plays her ex-boyfriend.

Executive producers Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers ("Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice) and creator Jenna Bans (Grey's Anatomy") brings viewers a invigorant medical drama that explores how far one must go to really heal.

Welcome to "La Ciudad de las Estrellas," a small town in a forest in South America that has a medical clinic without enough staff and not enough materials. In this drama, six doctors who lost their paths will until the end of the world to try to remember why they wanted to become doctors in the first place.

Off the Map is Jonathan Castellanos as Charlie, Valerie Cruz as Zitajalehrena Alvarez (Zee), Caroline Dhavernas as Lily Brenner, Jason George as Otis Cole, Zach Gilford as Tommy Fuller, Mamie Gummer as Mina Minard, Martin Henderson and Ben Keeton and Rachelle Lefevre as Ryan Clark.

“Coming up necks for Twilight bloodsucker Jackson Rathbone:

 A potentially recurring role on ABC’s No Ordinary Family. The 25-year-old actor—whose two summer films, Eclipse and The Last Airbender, collectively grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide—will play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker telepathic Daphne.”
