Blog TwiBrasil tipped us off to this one. It seems that the house where they shot Breaking Dawn’s honeymoon scenes is in an environmentally protected area, and may have to come down. Read the original Portuguese and the translation on Blog TwiBrasil.
Hopefully all the footage shot there is fine because reshoots on that location are not looking good as of now.

Isle Esme Shooting Location Featured in Architectural Digest
Architectural Digest has a fantastic photo spread and story on the house that served as the Isle Esme location. According to AD, “Halfway between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, off the BR-101 highway, lies a corner of Brazil bounded by forested mountains that edge their way down to the sea. The Saco do Mamanguá, a tropical fjord, cuts between the mainland and the peninsula of Juatinga, where ridges approaching 1,600 feet frame a narrow bay; this pristine spot is where businessman Ícaro Fernandes, his wife, Cristina, and their five children, ranging in age from three to 24, come to trade life in the urban jungle of São Paulo for waterskiing and dolphin-watching. On weekends, the clan braves São Paulo’s notorious traffic to make the nearly three-hour drive to the colonial town of Paraty, where they hop onto a speedboat for the short ride to their beachfront home. ” Thanks to our Elite Affi Twilight Lexicon for the tip! Source Via @twilightlexicon.

Here’s the master bedroom’s (seen above) description, “The walls and ceiling of the master bedroom are covered in woven-straw panels, the work of artisans in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais.”

Leading out of the master bedroom, “Like a rope bridge in the jungle, a walkway with eucalyptus railings spans from the master bedroom on one side of the living room across to the children’s rooms.”

Here’s the View from the living room. You can see where the flotilla of photographers were moored while filming was going on.”Friends moor their boats right off the beach when they visit. The plantation chairs and other outdoor furniture, all made of tropical hardwoods, are from Bali and Brazil.”

Breaking Dawn Set Photos & Video - Isle Esme Has Had A Makeover
Take a look at these before and after photos of Isle Esme. The production crew have certainly been busy and seem to have turned what was a grassy knoll into a sandy, tropical beach. Source - Source Via @twifans Via @twitreasury Via @twilightlexicon.
You can see the sand being added and other photos of the Breaking Dawn set in this YouTube video.

***SPOILERS FOUND UNDER THE CUT***
Ay, ay, ay! *-*
Anyone who knows me knows that I must be the craziest Twilight reporter on the planet, right? Now just imagine my happiness when I went to the “Isle Esme”, where the most romantic scenes of “Sunrise” will happen?
Motorboat, 25 minutes are up Mamanguá here in Paraty. I left the marina at 11 am, all urged to, to find the setting for the recordings. Neither the wild waves prevented me from getting there, hahaha!
Seriously … The Island is really beautiful! Water and superverdinha, the clean sand and whim was the first and only to spend hours on duty there in front (imagine my tan right now, hahaha!).
At the site, has a bigger house, where the recordings are made, and a smaller, where production is being made. Contrary to what many people said so, access the island is not that hard. While we were there, nobody stopped us anything. Yes there was, however, an isolation area that began around 150 or 200 yards from the house.
As the whim told you, Robert and Kristen have descended on the island, on Sunday. Despite the possibility of the actors have been sleeping here in Paraty, a source told us that the actors are in a house, and the simplest island, to facilitate movement to the recordings. While there, we found the house:
OMG, that is the costumes and those are the pillows from the scene of the honeymoon?
In “Isle Esme”, the production is a mile a minute. The recordings should happen tomorrow so, since a house was being imploded next to the site and the producers did not want anything that messed up the perfect shot.
Today? Today was just to set the stage … perfect.
While we were there we saw the decoration rolling loose. A staff worked to leave the sand perfect for the scenes, while other staff decorated the entrance with plants and artificial flowers.
If you saw Robert and Kristen here? Not yet! But we will not come unglued glue them not to see?

Isle of Esme Filming thus far - Breaking Dawn
With high security it is difficult to get a good view of what is going on at the "Isle of Esme". Source Via @twifans Via @mandysmind.
Twifans posts:
What you will see in these photos are some major cleaning, some changing of the exterior landscape, and tons of security. Isle Esme is located in Paraty, Brazil and the cast is staying 5 minutes away via helicopter from fan reports. These photos were taken as close as Amanda could get to the set yesterday. This might be the best we are going to get until after filming has concluded.
Rumors of a waterfall filming is happening first thing tomorrow morning
Here are some close-up's from Twifans:

Per Movieline, the location of Paraty has since been confirmed for today's shoot, and it is not certain what precise scene will be shot. The cast and crew have, however, already headed for that venue.
In the meantime, apparently there was a press conference held where director Bill Condon spoke to Brazilians who had raised concerns over filming in Lapa. According to Sérgio Sá Leitão, Condon was "frank" and "sincere," and all issues were resolved quickly.

Possible Isle Esme House?
Thanks to FoForks for the tip! Source Via @foforks.
Earlier today Veja Magazine released some new information about the shooting of Isle Esme. As has been said, to ensure the safety of the cast and production team during their stay in Rio de Janeiro, a mansion in Mamanguá had been rented to receive Robsten. The place would also be used to film some scenes. It was also said that the house chosen for the couple’s honeymoon is worthy of Hollywood: 15 rooms, with large glass areas – right in the style of the Cullen’s house in the first film – and integrated with the exuberant nature of Mamanguá .
The foforkiana Fernanda Fontes saw the post earlier today and got in touch with foforks. She traveled last year to the same region of Mamanguá, where we can only access via a boat and took pictures of beautiful houses, but only one stayed in her mind for a really long time! A specific house that she says reminds her a lot of the Cullen’s house and she took several photos of it during the trip. Fernanda sent the images to foforks and, according to what the press has been telling us the house fits the description perfectly.
