"NEW" Red Riding Hood wallpaper by Sylvia
Hi Everyone,
Robert and Kristen went to the theatre in Canada to see this film. I'm curious about their opinion. I guess we'll never know. From where I'm coming from, I have to wait till april to see it myself. For now making a wallpaper is all I can do. Enjoy!

'Red Riding Hood': How is it like 'Twilight'? Let us count the ways.
Thanks to Twilightish for the tip!
via @Twilightish via Source
Red Hiding Hood (in theaters now), is an updated fairy tale about a young woman named Valerie (Amanda Seyfried) who is caught between two suitors — idealistic Henry (Max Irons) and bad-boy Peter (Shiloh Fernandez) — in a town besieged by a blood-thirsty werewolf. It doesn’t have a single vampire. There’s no high-school-is-hell subplot. And Hood is set in an old-timey village that looks like it was probably fossil-fodder by the time Twilight‘s Bella (Kristen Stewart) was born. And yet, it’s hard to watch Red Riding Hood without having an odd feeling of Twilight déjà vu. Can’t put your finger on the cause? Let’s break down the similarities:
1. They’re both directed by Catherine Hardwicke. But that’s a gimme, so moving on…
2. Werewolf alert. Still too easy. Next!
3. Lines like “One bite… and you’ll be like me.” This is getting ridiculous. Let’s try to think of a hard one now. Like, how about…
4. Identical dads. How’s this for a weird coincidence: The guys who play Valerie and Bella’s dads might as well be cousins they look so much alike. Crazy, right? Wait, hang on a sec. They actually are both played by the exact same actor? Come on. This isn’t even fun now.
5. Gloomy, woodsy town. Okay, here’s a good one: Hood takes place in a forested, gray-skied village that might as well be a medieval version of Twilight‘s Forks, Washington.

Clevver TV: Little Red and Twilight Too Similar?
Clevver TV reports: There’s a lot of buzz on the Internet that Little Red Riding Hood, directed by Catherine Hardwicke, looks an awful lot like Twilight, also directed by Catherine Hardwicke. Among the movie’s cast are Billy Burke and Shiloh Fernandez. Catherine disclosed at the Seattle Twilight convention least year that Shiloh was one of 4 actors on her Edward Cullen short list (the others being Ben Barnes, Jackson Rathbone, and Robert Pattinson). Check out the videos below and tell us what you think. Thanks to Lexicon for the tip! Source Via @twilightlexicon.

'Twilight' vs. 'Red Riding Hood'
When the teaser trailer for director Catherine Hardwicke's "Red Riding Hood" debuted earlier this week, the comparisons to her previous box office blockbuster, "Twilight," flew faster than a vampire hunting Bella's blood. At first blush, these comparisons seemed unoriginal and a silly bit of pandering to "Twilight"'s rabid fanbase. But then we watched the trailer, and it's pretty hard to ignore the similarities. Thematically, "Red Riding Hood" relies on similar elements: a love triangle, supernatural occurrences and grisly murders, just to name a few. But that's the purview of the screenwriter. What's all Catherine is the teaser's visual elements, and here, even more so than plot, this film reeks of "Twilight." So much so, in fact, that we took screengrabs from both films for a side-by-side comparison.

For someone who grew up in Texas, Catherine has an intense fascination with the forest—ethereal, mist-laden ones, in particular. A woodsy setting is a favored location for her characters to bare their souls. The better if her heroine shares revelations with her sweetheart while facing away from him. Who but Catherine's couples have conversations while NOT FACING EACH OTHER?

Catherine also has a thing for fire and ice (way before the Robert Frost poem was used in "Eclipse"). Catherine's star-crossed lovers in both "Twilight" and "Red Riding Hood" share intimate moments in the snow. Nothing screams romance more than Popsicle toes, right? In hindsight, I really have no idea why snow was featured in Bella's vampire venom-induced hallucination, but I guess that's why it was a hallucination, huh?

Thankfully, her couples always have a toasty fire to warm up next to after their snowy shenanigans. Not only do flames figure into both films, but so does dancing around the flames. However, "Red Riding Hood" boasts a dance scene in the more traditional sense while "Twilight"'s vamps excitedly prance around a James-fueled flame. So I guess there's a difference for you.

Amanda Seyfried stars in Red Riding Hood as Valerie, a lovely young lady who’s “torn” between two gentlemen -- and by that we mean she’s in love with broody loner Peter (Shiloh Fernandez), but is betrothed to rich boy Henry (Max Irons). The forbidden romance between Valerie and Peter is made all the more complicated by the presence of a werewolf -- which their medieval village has long kept at bay via animal sacrifices. Until, under the cover of a blood red moon, the creature decides to begin feeding on humans instead. In order to read the whole article you have to go HERE
