 “That is a question I’m reserving the right not to answer, because there is a chance I’ll go back to their story,” says Stephenie. What?! She might come back to the story of Jacob and Renesmee?! We wouldn’t blame her, the whole imprinting plotline is fascinating, although many fans were disappointed that Jacob “imprinted” on Bella and Edward’s baby. As the devoted fans know though, this only means he is protective of her and doesn’t mean he has any inappropriate feelings towards Renesmee. He will wait until she gets older to act on anything, as he should.

Breaking Dawn Casting News: Eliza Faria Cast As ‘Little Renesmee’?

Five year old, Eliza Faria, began her acting career when she landed her first role in a Lysol Disinfectant commercial at the age of two.  Her subsequent TV commercial work includes Cisco The Human Network and Hasbro Scatterpillar.  She appeared as a featured background actor in an episode of Smallville and as a victim of a cougar attack in a television documentary, Animal Planet.  Eliza began working in student and independent films in 2009 and has completed nine projects and two music videos.  For the past six months she has been working weekly with Clint Mayers of First Call Casting, learning acting, directing and editing.  She is an active member of Vancouver All Star competitive cheerleading

Interesting! We are not exactly sure what they’ll be using her for as Mackenzie Foy is officially cast as Renesmee. We are thinking she must be the “body” they are using, and then Mackenzie’s head as CGI?

You can hear some of the early dialogue for Renesmee as well as the casting director in the background giving her the prompts.  Please remember that this was this actresses FIRST audition ever and she was not cast as Renesmee. This is not Mackenzie. So take that into consideration when commenting. It should also be noted that lines used in the casting process aren’t generally from the final script. They make an audition script based on what the actress will need to do in the final movie.

EW.com reports that 9-year old Mackenzie Foy has signed on to play Renesmee in "Breaking Dawn".

"Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too."
