Synopsis

Until he was downsized, affable, amiable Larry Crowne was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he's worked since his time in the Navy. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over. There he becomes part of a colorful community of outcasts, also-rans and the overlooked all trying to find a better future for themselves… often moving around town in a herd of scooters. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher Mercedes Tainot, who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband.

H Walt Disney Pictures παρουσιάζει σε Disney Digital 3D™ και Real D 3D την πολυαναμενόμενη περιπέτεια της χρονιάς, “TRON: Legacy”, που ξεπερνά όλα όσα έχουμε δει μέχρι σήμερα. Στην καρδιά της ταινίας βρίσκεται η ανθρώπινη ιστορία της συνάντησης ενός πατέρα με τον γιο του, σε ένα hi-tech σύμπαν με άπειρες δυνατότητες αλλά ταυτόχρονα εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνο. ΣΥΝΟΨΗ

Ο Σαμ Φλιν (Γκάρετ Χέντλαντ), ένας 27χρονος επαναστάτης, αναζητά εξηγήσεις για τη μυστηριώδη εξαφάνιση του πατέρα του Κέβιν Φλιν (Τζεφ Μπρίτζες), του άνδρα που είχε χαρακτηριστεί ως ο κορυφαίος δημιουργός ψηφιακών παιχνιδιών, στον κόσμο. Όταν ο Σαμ ερευνά ένα περίεργο σήμα που λαμβάνει από το παλιό εργαστήριο του πατέρα του, ένα σήμα που μόνο εκείνος θα μπορούσε να έχει στείλει, μεταφέρεται στον ψηφιακό κόσμο, που ο Κέβιν έχει παγιδευτεί εδώ και είκοσι χρόνια. Με τη βοήθεια της ατρόμητης Κόρα (Ολίβια Γουάιλντ), πατέρας και γιος ξεκινούν ένα ταξίδι ζωής και θανάτου, μέσα σε ένα εκπληκτικό ψηφιακό σύμπαν. Το σύμπαν που δημιούργησε ο ίδιος ο Κέβιν, αλλά με το πέρασμα των ετών έχει εξελιχθεί και εμπλουτιστεί με απίστευτα όπλα, γρήγορα οχήματα και μοναδικά τοπία. Πατέρας και γιος θα χρειαστεί να αντιμετωπίσουν αδίστακτους κακοποιούς που είναι διατεθειμένοι να κάνουν τα πάντα προκειμένου να εμποδίσουν τη φυγή τους.

First Image and Official Synopsis for ABDUCTION Starring Taylor Lautner

Collider reports: Since breaking out in a big way with the Twilight films, Taylor Lautner has been extremely busy on a litany of projects. Today, straight from the American Film Market (AFM), we bring you the first image and an official synopsis of Lautner’s upcoming film Abudction, directed by John Singleton (Boys n the Hood). The film is a thriller which centers around a young man who sets out to uncover the truth after finding a baby photo of himself listed on a missing persons website. When we spoke to Lautner earlier this year, he spoke briefly about this project, but the synopsis here elaborates much more. Since previously telling you that Sigourney Weaver had joined the project, quite a few more impressive names have joined the cast. They include Lily Collins (pictured with Lautner), Danny Glover, Alfred Molina, Maria Bello, and Jason Isaacs.

This project actually sounds pretty interesting, and the talented John Singleton has rounded up a fine cast. This seems like a smart move on Lautner’s part. He’s able to take roles in the larger projects like Stretch Armstrong, but choosing to do a more dramatic film like this one shows that he’s not all about the paycheck/flashy roles. What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website? Teen Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma. Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are. When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan’s quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown “Bourne”-like man-on-the-run thriller.
