Tinsel Korey just hit the stage

Tinsel is doing theatre games exercises with the audience again. Crazy 8 Game. Going to get video!

Tinsel would be a florist if not in performing art

Tinsel would be a lazy sloth if she was an animal

Tinsel loved going back to La Push. She was so glad to see the kids there again and did an acting class for them

Tinsel urges the audience to sign the Tsunami petition for the Quiluetes to be able to move out of the danger zone http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/222/865/022/

Favorite BD experience was a beach scene that the entire wolfpack was there for it was a way to wrap up and say goodbye

Bill condon is officially awesome as far as Tinsel is concerned!

Tinsel would work with Gwenneth Paltrow given the chance.

She’d also loves that she is working w/ Bronson Pelletier in the upcoming Fishng Naked. She thinks of him like a little brother.

Tinsel says that she is looking forward to the new Ryan Gossling movie because he looks so hot in it.

She is also looking forward to Taylor Lautner in Abduction

Tinsel is half-way done on her new single called Into the West

Daemon’s Movies Talks to Tinsel Korey

Thanks to our Elite Affiliate Twilight Lexicon for this tip!

Daemon’s Movies chats with Tinsel Korey about Twilight and her upcoming work in Fishing Naked with Bronson Pelletier.Pictured is Tinsel going through the effects make-up process.

At Comic-Con people camped our for two days to be at the panel for ‘Twilight’. Has the level of intense fandom had an effect on you and your career?

Tinsel Korey: Obviously it opens doors, in a way, having something big like that, absolutely. I don’t know if the level of work has gone further. I already had a career that was sort of building before ‘Twilight’. So it definitely gave it a little bit of a bump, but I was already going in that direction anyways and so it just sort of kept that steady pace of work for me.

In terms of interacting with people who recognize you, has that changed?

Tinsel Korey: I actually don’t get recognized. Last night, it was so funny, I was walking with Booboo and everyone recognized Boo Boo [Stewart], but because have of my face is covered with a massive scar and for the first two films I had bangs I look very different without that whole entire thing. Also, it’s like I’m dressed down in the movie, like, buttoned up plaid shirts and stuff like that. So, I actually don’t get recognized as much as the other guys because I have half my face covered with a massive scar.

That can be a blessing, right, so that you can live a normal life without getting mobbed wherever you go?

Tinsel Korey: Yeah, totally. Obviously, I like it. I’m more than happy to sign for fans and take pictures with fans as well, but it’s kind of nice having that anonymity and do which is what I do as an actor which is people watch. So, if everyone was watching me I definitely wouldn’t be able to delve into my craft as much as I can now where I can observe people and do what I do as an artist.

Forks Prepping for Annual Stephenie Meyer Day

Thanks to our Elite Affiliate Twilight Lexicon for this tip!!

Each year Forks puts on a Stephenie Meyer themed celebration to coincide with the weekend closest to Bella’s September 13th birthday. This year they have their own website http://stepheniemeyerday.com/ Where they are rapidly filling in the details of the weekend.

The town of Forks has also made some rather necessary and practical changes to handle the influx of visitors. According to the Forks, Washington blog “The members of West End Business & Professional Association and Forks Chamber of Commerce have gone in together on two Sanicans placed downtown for the summer tourists. Merchants in the area of the stoplight had been complaining about Twilight visitors using their restrooms which are usually back in store rooms and not meant for public use.

So a regular sanican was delivered first and when the folks at West Waste and Recycling delivered the second one it had a custom paint job, I call it the “Twilight Twoilet.”

Official Response From Summit Entertainment to Daiana Santia’s August 4th Press Conference Claims

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Tweet This | Share on FaceBook

Thank you to our Elite Affiliate Twilight Lexicon for bringing us this latest news from Summit Entertainment.
Summit's Response:
First and most important this is NOT about greed or the Studio wanting to bully a woman from a small town in Argentina – rather, it is about stolen material that is private and sensitive which was obtained by illegally accessing private/secure servers as well as personal email accounts. Ms. Santia’s actions came to light after these materials began appearing on the internet towards the end of March, 2011. Since Summit learned of Ms. Santia’s involvement in late May 2011, Summit has been in contact with Ms. Santia and her representatives with no resolution or further good faith efforts on their part, thus the only alternative left was to pursue legal action to ascertain that Ms. Santia no longer holds the images and video in any shape or form. Prior to said action the studio clearly communicated to Ms. Santia and her representatives that a press release would be distributed naming the actions being taken as well as naming her specifically.
· Summit’s first meeting with the Santia family occurred on May 31, 2011 at which point the studio was told they would fully cooperate. A subsequent meeting took place on June 8, 2011 with Ms. Santia and her lawyer at which time Ms. Santia confessed to the intrusions. It is also important to note that Ms.Santia is 24 years of age. The family was contacted as a group as the IP address used was registered under a family name.
· Specifically on June 8, 2011 Ms. Santia confessed in the presence of her attorney that she accessed servers and email accounts via a systematic attack — stealing photographs, unfinished images and video footage over several months. Additionally there is indisputable evidence linking her directly to IP addresses that were used in the unauthorized access. Her actions appear to be premeditated and not done on a whim, but rather using technology and tactics that require thought as well as time and skill. Because Ms. Santia decided that she does not want to cooperate, Summit has been unable to settle this matter privately with Ms. Santia and her representatives in Argentina.
· Ms. Santia claims to have deleted the stolen materials off her lap top as well as her family’s desktop computer, however both common sense and historically similar cases have proven that a defendant’s word cannot be taken as final. Additionally, Summit must confirm the extent to which Ms. Santia shared the materials with others.
· When first approached by Summit, Ms. Santia’s representatives indicated their willingness to permit Summit to review the computers. Based on this communication, Summit flew technical experts to Posadas, only to have Ms. Santia renege on their offer after the arrival of these experts. To this day, Ms. Santia has refused to cooperate in giving Summit access to these two computers to verify for itself that the images and footage have in fact been deleted, and to confirm the extent to which files were shared. We do not feel this is an unreasonable request but rather a prudent move to protect the IP and the studio. Additionally the studio has made an offer to have representatives chosen by Ms. Santia present when the computers are searched in order to protect the Ms. Santia’s privacy relating to anything else that is not related to this particular situation as they are of no interest to the studio.
· Had Ms. Santia cooperated Summit and its representatives would have worked with her to reach a compromise that would not necessarily involve legal action in Argentina and the United States.

Breaking Dawn Column Debuts at Movies.com

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Tweet This | Share on FaceBook

Pel over at our Elite Affiliates Twilight Lexicon has had the great opportunity to work on the Breaking Dawn Column that has debued over at Movies . com.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn just wrapped filming in late April. The film will be split into two parts with part 1 coming out on November 18, 2011 and part 2 slated for November 16, 2012. Filming of both parts took place concurrently in a wide array of locations from Brazil to Vancouver with a cast that more than tripled in size. Fortunately, from the fan standpoint, this sizable casting only reflects new additions to the Twilight Saga franchise. The main cast members that comprise the Cullen family, the wolf pack, and the Volturi coven will all return. This is a refreshing change for fans. Both the second and third movies in the franchise hit casting speed bumps that resulted in negative fan reaction. Taylor Lautner had to fight to maintain his role in The Twilight Saga: New Moon by bulking up physically, and by proving that he could pull off a scarier and more mature characterization than his previous good-guy, boy-next-door persona. Lautner luckily managed to win over the producers and was retained in the films. On the other hand, not everyone has been so lucky. In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse the pivotal role of Victoria was recast with Bryce Dallas Howard replacing Rachelle Lefevre after what amounted to a dispute over coordinating outside projects.

With The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn part 1, fans of the Saga will finally get the payoff that many of them have been waiting for: the wedding and honeymoon of Edward and Bella, played by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Director Bill Condon filmed the honeymoon sequences in Brazil. Just about the only scenes fans were able to observe were the ones shot on the streets of Rio and in the harbor area. Pattinson and Stewart as their characters were seeing kissing and cuddling take after take. As the debate among some fans as to the status of their off-screen relationship rages on, the one thing that has remained clear is that The Twilight Saga films’ success have largely rested on their onscreen chemistry.

No one knows exactly where the two films will be split, but common thought is that it will take place shortly after the infamous birth scene. This likely limits new cast members appearing in the first film to the members of the Denali coven. Coven leader Eleazar will be played by Christian Camargo, and Mia Maestro will play his wife, Carmen. The coven will be rounded out by the beautiful Denali sisters portrayed by Maggie Grace (Irina), Casey LaBow (Kate), and MyAnna Buring (Tanya). Photos released by Summit Entertainment show these new cast members dressed to the nines at Bella and Edward’s wedding .

Patrick Brennan Talks with Twilight Lexicon About Breaking Dawn, Casting, and Fandom

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Thanks to @TwilightLexicon

Here is what Lexicon said about the interview.

While at the Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Convention in Nashville in March we had the chance to sit down and talk with Patrick Brennan, who plays Liam in Breaking Dawn.  This was Patrick’s first ever convention and he was overwhelmed by the love and support he felt from the Twilight fandom!  As the son of Eileen Brennan (Clue, Private Benjamin) Patrick grew up around Hollywood.  He even told us a story while we were setting up about being taken out of school to go to the set for Clue and hanging out with some of the cast members.  But none of that put any kind of damper on his humility and gratitude for being a part of the Twilight Saga as you will see in this interview.

You will need to turn the volume up all the way for this one.  We had limited space and time for the interview.  This took place while everyone was getting ready for their photo ops in the next room so there is quite a bit of background noise that we apologize for!  Still, we feel this is a great introduction for the fans to get to know Patrick.  He is going to be at several stops of the Official Twilight Convention along the way.  Your next chance to see him is at the Arlington convention April 15 – 17.

Our thanks go to Creation Entertainment for allowing us to film the interview and to Patrick Brennan for taking the time to talk to us.  You can follow Patrick on Twitter at @thePatBrennan.

Twilight Lexicon's Interview with Leah Gibson: Nettie from Eclipse

Thanks to @TwilightLexicon

Here is what Lexicon said about the interview.

Of all the opportunities that come our way over the years in working in the fandom, some of our favorite moments come when we have an opportunity to interview the cast members while at the conventions.  In Nashville last month, we had the chance to talk with Leah Gibson, who played Nettie in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  This was Leah’s first time at The Creation Entertainment Official Twilight Convention, so we jumped at the chance to talk to her.  While we were in the middle of the interview, our camera died!  (That’s what happens when your kids get their hands on your equipment and you forget to switch the batteries!) After much apologizing, a second camera was retrieved by Shelley (Something Blue) and we continued with the interview.

We had a great time getting to know Leah and we thank her for taking the time to talk to us, technical difficulties and all!  And we thank Creation Entertainment for allowing us to film this and bring it to all of you.

The Quileuete Nation Seeks Tsunami Legislation And Needs Your Help

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Hey Everyone!
Greetings from Pakistan :)

Thanks to our elite affiliate Twilight Lexicon for the tip!
via @TwilightLexicon via Source

Here is a report by Twilight Lexicon:

The first time we went to La Push the one thing that struck us were all the tsunami escape route signs that you see. We often think of Tsunamis as something affecting Asia, but they are a very real danger to those living on the Pacific Coast. Residents in California experienced destruction of property from the recent Tsunami as seen in this video. Imagine what would have happened if the quake was in North America and people didn’t have hours to prepare, and the relatively insignificant destruction of property was instead lost human life. In fact, in the year 1700 there was a major quake in the Canadian/US border( estimated 8.0) resulting in a Tsunami that caused mass destruction across the Pacific.
The Quileuete Nation needs your help. They have made a video and have pending legislation to allow them to better defend themselves against threats of nature. Please call your senators and tell them that you support this legislation.

The Quileute Tribe is utilizing a newly released video to assist in educating the public about the tsunami and flooding dangers facing the tribe. Situated along the Pacific Ocean and bordering the Olympic National Park, the members of the tiny one square mile fishing village are placing their hopes of moving to higher ground on the recently filed Quileute Tsunami Protection legislation (HR 1162) introduced on March 17, 2011 by Congressman Norm Dicks and Senator Maria Cantwell (D).
The video is posted on the Quileute Nation website at http://www.quileutenation.org/ and on the tribe’s Youtube page at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYksWOoP9pU.
