We have a nice little treat today. There are new pictures of Nikki and Jack Huston filming on the set of Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The pictures come from what David Slade wrote as the last night shoot on his twitter.

VIDEO: Xavier Samuel Filming Eclipse Opener?

Feast your eyes, Twi-hards!

Here's a video of Xavier Samuel filming Twilight sequel Eclipse in Vancouver on Wednesday—or, more specifically, what might be the opening sequence of the film.

According to Lainey Gossip, the intended movie opening goes down like this:

"I’m told exclusively that Xavier is working on what’s currently intended (at press time) to be the OPENING SCENE in Eclipse. 'Riley' in human form is being terrorized down an alley in Seattle pursued by a sinister shadow which turns out to be 'Victoria.' He cannot outrun her, she attacks him, and as you can see from the exclusive video below...he writhes in pain from being bitten."

Whoa; if true, that's quite the score for Xavier, landing the movie's opening sequence. Move over, R-Pattz?

Photos from Tuesday's Set

Katina blogged about her set experiences and posted some excellent photos of the set in the daylight. The same set that I posted evening photos of.

Katina says:
So how do I know (or think I know at least) that it was a newborn scene? Good question.
+ The only car of notice was David Slade’s black SUV arriving about 6:30. His usual driver and very young looking assistant were up front. No other recognizable cars like Kristen or Rob’s were there, so not the main stars.
+ There were an unusually high amount of regular cars, like 80-100 (no joke), meaning not only a lot of crew, but extras! And probably newborn vamps. The number of cars doesn’t even include the trailers, trucks, or transport vans.
+ There were 2 if not 3 mobile dressing room trucks, meaning lots of costumes for lots of people.
+ The background was an old wherehouse and dock, I’m thinking Seattle.
+ There was an ambulance on set, meaning stunts!


Interesting... I was thinking since the newborns exit the water

(I took photos of this being filmed a few weeks ago)

perhaps this is the planning to "go get Bella" and entering the water?

I could be way off - I am just guessing here.... Thoughts?

here’s the dock. I think it’s funny how the ship has the name Victoria on it. Not sure if that was done on purpose or just a coincidence.

Katina continues:


+ There was this huge light across the river from the shoot. A neighbor explained to me that the lights were on a sky jack and the lights are called the “light of God.” They are usually used during nights because the light will be the sun once they convert it to daylight. I was just not too sure about this because that would mean a lot of sparkling.

I saw this light along with other lights at the live set that evening

one point a black Porsche came into the parking lot, but it drove out after awhile. I wonder if it was being diverted to another set.

Katina ends by saying:

I don’t have any expectations anymore, but I was still a little bummed that since I was the only one I didn’t even get a hello. I did, however, get a New Moon poster and a bunch of trading cards, which was nice. And that is really because I believe that I kept it low key. I was asked not to twitter about the location and didn't. I didn’t take flashing pictures at cars. I didn’t get in their way. I was just pretty quiet and stood in the same area. I hope this is a little bit of a lesson to other fans. So no actors seen, but I had a good time.

Sounds like and Look slike a good time. Despite no cast sightings, just seeing the set up and set area is exciting because when the film comes out you will have that connection of having been there!!!!

NEW ECLIPSE SET: POSSIBLE SEATTLE/URBAN SET (PREVIEW)

This is a new Eclipse set in Vancouver. So, here are your first look photos at this urban set! It’s definitely a city set… I’m thinking maybe a backstory… or possibly newborns.

So the ONE day I don’t bring my camera to work, I decide to check out an Eclipse set. I apologize in advance for the photos… they were taken with my Blackberry. I may go check out the set another day or a bit later… so stay tuned as I’ll have better photos. For those of you who follow my other Twilight blog posts, you know that normally my images are much higher quality. :)

Here they are setting up what I believe to be a rain machine. Water will come through the tube and then is dispersed through hundreds of little holes along the beam. You can see that the buildings look old and historic, and set the scene nicely for an urban set.

Here’s another shot. I believe filming will take place in the alleyway nearby. Lots of old props are being set up… very grunge, urban items like trash cans and garbage littering the street. They were also seen painting graffiti and other enhancements to add to the set.

So that’s just a quick preview! Hopefully I have some better photos and a better set report soon. Enjoy! Please be respectful of the photos and of course the filming locations and the crew.

You can always follow me on Twitter for more updates, and I’ll let you know if I end up getting better photos.

Before filming today crew were taking away flower planters and adding pumpkins to Bella's house.


There is a new awning above the front steps also.

Obviously today's scene takes place in the Fall... but what scene?
**edit - yes Eclipse is graduation which is the Spring/Summer... could it be a Dream Sequence? I know they have done a lot of those.... hmmm....
after *JUST* reading the New moon Movie Companion Guide I am all confused on my stories.... (the seasons change outside Bella's house to show passing of time during her depression without Edward in New Moon) but this is Eclipse soooo...


What scene do you think it is?


I do wonder WHO plants flowers and puts up awnings and pumpkins? Charlie is busy all the time and Bella is, well, preoccupied with her men... ha ha ha... yet their home is always up-to-date with the seasons and holidays neccessities LOL

Tonight's Overnight Shoot will be included in tomorrow's set report as I am headed to bed and they aren't going to be wrapping for a few hours.


I will say there are different units on compeltely different schedules and I think it will be a hectic few days for people wanting to "find" or "go to" sets.
