The Robert Pattinson wax figure has been unveiledat the Madame Tussauds in London on Thursday, March 25th! Fans got cozy with the waxed Rob at the unveiling. The Rob wax figure in New York City will be unveiled Thursday as well.

We sparked a fan frenzy today as a brand new wax figure of Hollywood’s hottest young actor, Robert Pattinson joined the A-List to the approval of his adoring fans.

Residing in a specially created VIP section of our A-List party area, the British born star’s figure mirrors his rugged style with an open collared shirt and skinny trousers, trademark sultry expression and tousled hair. To mark his debut a group of his most ardent fans were invited to be the first to step into his exclusive VIP room and “meet” their hero.

“The figure looks really great! Just like him – his hair is spot on.” Said Katie Sear, 23 from Luton. She continued: “It’s amazing, almost like meeting the real thing! I’m sure people are going to love it; he is just gorgeous!”

Liz Edwards, our spokesperson said: “R-Pattz is one of the hottest celebs on the planet. We are delighted to be able to give them the chance to cosy up with their idol here at Madame Tussauds and judging by the reactions of the first to meet him here this morning he is set to top our “most kissed list of celebrities very quickly!”

The full image of Remember Me and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse star Robert Pattinson's Madame Tussauds wax figure has been revealed.

The figure is scheduled for unveiling tomorrow at Madame Tussauds in both London, U.K. and New York City, New York.

According to Pattinson Online, "The first 100 fans who arrive to see Rob’s wax figure on the day it is unveiled in NY will receive free Pattinson and Twilight gear, as well as free admission to the attraction" but Pattinson himself will not be attending the unveiling.

Madame Tussauds' Facebook page announced that "Pattinson’s figure is dressed in black trousers and fitted shirt. A jacket in a contrasting color finishes off his young, hip look. R-Pattz’s wax likeness also sports the actor’s signature tousled locks, which fans are invited to run their fingers through. Each strand of hair was inserted one-by-one by the Tussauds studio artists, who created the figure.

They spent hundreds of hours studying photos and watching video footage of Pattinson to create the incredibly lifelike figure, which is posed standing up with hands on hips and will be housed in the “Opening Night Party” section of Madame Tussauds New York."

Crowds of screaming fans will flood Times Square to help unveil a wax figure of Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson on Thursday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. at Madame Tussauds New York, 234 West 42nd St. (b/w 7th & 8th Aves.), Manhattan. After the unveiling, fans will be able to cozy up to R-Pattz’s figure for photos and even a hug. Once immortalized (in wax), the Twilight vampire and Remember Me star will join the likes of Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Leonardo DiCaprio – all of whom have wax figures in the famed Times Square wax attraction.

It’s official — Robert Pattinson will be a wax figure at a museum in London -

We expect to spark fan frenzy today as we’ve just confirmed the next actor to be admitted into our attraction is the hottest celebrity of the moment, Brit born A-lister and star of the phenomenally successful Twilight saga, Robert Pattinson. The wax figure of the British heartthrob will be revealed in March, ahead of the release of his latest film, Remember Me, in early April.

The studios team are busy recreating R-Pattz’s trademark sultry expression and messy hair, whilst the figure’s outfit will reflect his rugged style with an open collared shirt and skinny trousers. The figure making process takes four months of intense work to complete at a cost of £150,000.

“Robert Pattinson is one of the hottest celebrities in the world and we have been inundated by requests to make him at Madame Tussauds London,” commented Liz Edwards, our PR Manager. “We are delighted that we’ll be able to give fans the chance to to meet their idol and pose for pictures with him.
