H Walt Disney Pictures παρουσιάζει σε Disney Digital 3D™ και Real D 3D την πολυαναμενόμενη περιπέτεια της χρονιάς, “TRON: Legacy”, που ξεπερνά όλα όσα έχουμε δει μέχρι σήμερα. Στην καρδιά της ταινίας βρίσκεται η ανθρώπινη ιστορία της συνάντησης ενός πατέρα με τον γιο του, σε ένα hi-tech σύμπαν με άπειρες δυνατότητες αλλά ταυτόχρονα εξαιρετικά επικίνδυνο. Ο βραβευμένος με Όσκαρ TZEΦ ΜΠΡΙΤΖΕΣ επιστρέφει σε διπλό ρόλο, ως ο πολυμήχανος σχεδιαστής videogame Κέβιν Φλιν και ταυτόχρονα ως ο νεότερος εαυτός του, Κλου. Είναι η πρώτη φορά που ηθοποιός παίζει απέναντι στον εαυτό του σε μικρότερη ηλικία. Τον γιο του, Σαμ υποδύεται ο νέος και ανερχόμενος ηθοποιός ΓΚΑΡΕΤ ΧΕΝΤΛΑΝΤ («Τροία»), ενώ την φίλη του Κουόρα υποδύεται η ηθοποιός ΟΛΙΒΙΑ ΓΟΥΑΪΛΝΤ (“Dr. House/ Ιατρικές Υποθέσεις”). Το σάουντρακ της ταινίας έχει επιμεληθεί το βραβευμένο με Grammy® δίδυμο της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής DAFT PUNK, που στην ταινία κάνουν μια cameo εμφάνιση στο πλευρό των Τζεφ Μπρίτζες και Γκάρετ Χέντλαντ. Μια ταινία από τους συντελεστές των “AVATAR”,  “300” και “H ΑΠΙΣΤΕΥΤΗ ΙΣΤΟΡΙΑ ΤΟΥ ΜΠΕΝΤΖΑΜΙΝ ΜΠΑΤΟΝ”.

ΣΥΝΟΨΗ

Ο Σαμ Φλιν (Γκάρετ Χέντλαντ), ένας 27χρονος επαναστάτης, αναζητά εξηγήσεις για τη μυστηριώδη εξαφάνιση του πατέρα του Κέβιν Φλιν (Τζεφ Μπρίτζες), του άνδρα που είχε χαρακτηριστεί ως ο κορυφαίος δημιουργός ψηφιακών παιχνιδιών, στον κόσμο. Όταν ο Σαμ ερευνά ένα περίεργο σήμα που λαμβάνει από το παλιό εργαστήριο του πατέρα του, ένα σήμα που μόνο εκείνος θα μπορούσε να έχει στείλει, μεταφέρεται στον ψηφιακό κόσμο, που ο Κέβιν έχει παγιδευτεί εδώ και είκοσι χρόνια. Με τη βοήθεια της ατρόμητης Κόρα (Ολίβια Γουάιλντ), πατέρας και γιος ξεκινούν ένα ταξίδι ζωής και θανάτου, μέσα σε ένα εκπληκτικό ψηφιακό σύμπαν. Το σύμπαν που δημιούργησε ο ίδιος ο Κέβιν, αλλά με το πέρασμα των ετών έχει εξελιχθεί και εμπλουτιστεί με απίστευτα όπλα, γρήγορα οχήματα και μοναδικά τοπία. Πατέρας και γιος θα χρειαστεί να αντιμετωπίσουν αδίστακτους κακοποιούς που είναι διατεθειμένοι να κάνουν τα πάντα προκειμένου να εμποδίσουν τη φυγή τους.

Disney's highly-anticipated new 3-D sci-fi movie, Tron: Legacy, will debut in theaters nationwide next week and the studio's relentless promotional campaign continues unabated with the release of yet another clip from the movie. In the latest clip, Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund) is introduced to the enigmatic program Castor (Michael Sheen), who runs a nightclub within the digital world of the Tron video game. The short clip spotlights Sheen's Bowie-as-Ziggy-Stardust-esque performance and also features the cameo by French electro-pop group Daft Punk, who wrote and performed the score of the movie.

3D BOOTCAMP – PRESENTED BY THE SONY 3D TECHNOLOGY CENTER AND FEATURING A PREVIEW OF TRON: LEGACY


Wednesday, November 10, 10:00 a.m. at Mann’s Chinese Theatre


Buzz Hayes, Senior Vice President of the Sony 3D Technology Center, will present this special seminar on the making of 3D entertainment. The bootcamp will cover the history and foundation of 3D production, including the fundamentals of making good 3D, basic terminology, tools and techniques and 3D “dos and don’ts.” The seminar includes a 20-minute preview of TRON: LEGACY, a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world. Walt Disney Pictures will release TRON: LEGACY in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX 3D on December 17, 2010.

'TRON: Legacy' To Open Store In LA For 6 Weeks

Imagine you are a TRON fan, desperately killing time until the December 17 release of TRON: Legacy. You’ve downloaded all the posters, listened to all the soundtrack samples, watched the clips, pre-ordered the comic books, bought your IMAX 3D tickets but still, you need more. Well, Disney is more than happy to oblige. They are opening the TRON: Legacy Pop Up Shop on November 19 in Culver City, CA for six weeks. Yes, a TRON store is opening. It’ll have all kind of unique TRON merchandise, a TRON cafe, art exhibit and much more. No original Blu-Ray though. It’s open though December 23.
