The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz is teaming up, once again, with his New Moon: The Scorecomposer Alexandre Desplat for The Gardener.

According to IndieWire, "Desplat also let it slip that he’ll be scoring Chris Weitz's 'neo-realist' drama, 'The Gardener.' Starring Demian Birchir (Fidel Castro in “Che”) the film will follow the woes of a undocumented illegal worker as the tries to make a living for his family life in the titular job. The film shot this summer, and will likely hit the festival circuit next year."

Since Mr. Alexandre was awarded for his contribution in writing mucic scores second time in a row...
This week is dedicated again to him. I tried to find a composition that is not from the Twilight Saga.
I liked the best this one: It is from the Movie Afterwards and the theme is called The Wonder Of Life.
Just let the music take you in a magic place...Feel It...This is the magic of music....

Alexander Desplat Named Film Composer Of The Year for ' New Moon'

In some exciting news from the New Moon score, Alexander Desplat has been named film composer of the year, and for the second year in a row by the World Soundtrack Awards. Alexander won this year for his work on four films including The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

Brussels– Alexandre Desplat has taken top honors at the World Soundtrack Awards for the second year running.

He was named film composer of the year on Saturday evening for his work on “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” “New Moon,” “Julie & Julia” and “The Ghost Writer.”

“Mr Fox” also got the nod for best original film score, repeating Desplat’s double last year with “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”

Now in their tenth edition, the award ceremony closed the Ghent Film Festival in Belgium.
