Garth: 'Facinelli's a foxy grandpa in Twilight'

Jennie Garth has said that her husband Peter Facinelli will be make a "foxy grandpa" in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1. Source Via @twilightish.

Speaking to OK, the former 90210 actress admitted that she has not spent much time thinking about her spouse's character Dr Carlisle Cullen's new role as a grandfather to Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella's (Kristen Stewart) child, but she is certain that he will still attract the movie's female fans.

"I never really thought about it. But it's okay, he's gonna be a pretty foxy grandpa," she said. "If you have a grandpa, I'd want one that looks like him."

Garth also stated that she and Facinelli's daughters plan to visit the movie's Vancouver set as filming gets under way this fall.

"It will probably require some travel on our part," she explained.

Peter Facinelli was chosen as Rolling Stone's "Worst Vampire" by Peter Travers for his work as "Dr. Carlisle Cullen" in the Twilight Saga films.

"Facinelli is a solid actor, but playing Carlisle Cullen, the white-haired head of the fang-challenged Cullen vampire family, he looks about as terrifying as Project Runway winner Austin Scarlett, whom Carlisle closely resembles," the post states.

Peter Facinelli spoke out on Twitter about the win, joking "YES! I finally came in Number 1 in something!"

Facinelli went on to respond to the text of the article. "....Thank you Mr. Travers. As Carlisle is a compassionate humanitarian, and anti-vampire in nature, being the worst Vampire was quite the compliment. Although, you had me at 'solid actor'. :) I did find the comparison to Austin Scarlett utterly ridiculous though ... He has way better cheek bones."

Quite the comeback, don't you think?

Speaking of humanitarian, Facinelli is heading to Monroe, Michigan (The Mall of Monroe) on September 12th at 5:00 p.m. to sign autographs and raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.
