“Peter Facinelli has his three daughters
with Jennie Garth to thank for the inspiration behind “Accidentally in
Love,” the romantic Valentine’s Day tale he wrote for his wife of 10
years.
“I originally wrote this script for maybe
me and my wife to play it, but then I got a little busy. I was doing
press on ['The Twilight Saga:] Eclipse’ at the time it was shooting, and
I had no time to act in the film,” Peter says. “I also worried that
this would become the Jennie Garth/Peter Facinelli movie instead of a
film with two characters. Our playing together could have detracted from
the believability of the story and become a distraction. So I took a
step back and let my wife kiss someone else.”

'Twilight' news wrap: Kristen Stewart as Snow White?
Hey Everyone!
Greetings from Pakistan :)
Here is an interesting news wrap on Twilight. Enjoy!
Thanks to our elite affiliate Twilight Examiner for the tip!
via @TwiExaminer via @TwilightLexicon & @TwilightMOMS
During the slower times, these Twilight news wraps seem both appropriate and convenient. So, here's the latest in Twilight news.
For starters, Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen" in the Twilight series) announced that the film he wrote, Accidentally In Love, which stars his wife Jennie Garth, will be hitting the Hallmark Channel on February 12th at 9:00 p.m. EST. You might recall that the film was originally titled Mulligan, and Jennie Garth posted an on-set photo from filming of the movie over the summer. Here's the movie's full description:
Similarly in the way of penmanship, Catherine Hardwicke (the director of Twilight), as you know, is preparing for the March 11th release of her new film Red Riding Hood. And the film isn't the only thing Hardwicke is responsible for with it, either. She's also written an introduction to a new film tie-in novel version of Red Riding Hood (which is being released by Twilight publisher Little, Brown Books), and she recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about that venture (remember, Catherine Hardwicke was the only Twilight director so far to release her own director's notebook from filming in addition to the Official Illustrated Companion). You can see the interview here.
Also of interest is an interview with Shiloh Fernandez, one of Hardwicke's top four choices for "Edward" and star of Red Riding Hood, in which he talked about the one that got away - i.e., the Twilight series.
Moving on, there was a story in Reuters which discussed an all but unrecognizably beaten to death topic - that there is, shocker, a vampire craze going on related to Twilight, True Blood, and the like. The difference between this one and others is that it's not using vampire mania as an excuse for teenage behavior. Instead, it's turning the spotlight on adults who literally believe they are vampires.
On to a slightly less disturbing topic . . . or maybe just as disturbing. While at Sundance, in the attached MTV video, Judd Nelson from The Breakfast Club issued his high praise of Dakota Fanning ("Jane" in the Twilight series). He seems to believe, as many do, that she's among the most talented actresses in Hollywood.
And speaking of talent and praise, Entertainment Weekly has just issued another edition of its 25 Hottest Stars who are 25 and Under, and, surprise surprise, some of the Twilight cast is on it. Included are Robert Pattinson ("Edward Cullen" in the Twilight series), Dakota Fanning, and Taylor Lautner ("Jacob Black"). While we're on the subject, be sure to vote in the Virgin Media Movie Awards for Kristen Stewart and for Robert Pattinson, and also weigh in on iVillage's entertainment awards as well.
Speaking of Kristen Stewart, Moviefone reports that she's in the running to portray Snow White in Snow White And The Huntsman.
Finally, there are a few (yes, yes) The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn upates to attend to.
First of all, even more discussion of the wedding has come about, but my response to that remains the same: maybe. There's no way to know at this time absent photographs, cast tweets, or something similar.
Second, and finally, NessieMackenzie.com has some on-set information, including a bit about how Robert Pattinson has been teaching Mackenzie Foy a few new words.

Eddie James, a disgruntled actor who wants to do more than play "Mulligan the Rabbit" on a children's TV show, discovers life can change in a heartbeat when he accidentally gets into a car accident with single mother Annie Baker. In the unexpected friendship that develops between them, Eddie tries to help Annie's nearly-blind daughter Taylor get an operation to restore her sight. You can find out more about it here. In the video below, Peter Facinelli has issued a special message about his hopes to see a new movie, Bo, come to be. He also talked a bit about how this relates to his recent production, Loosies.
Similarly in the way of penmanship, Catherine Hardwicke (the director of Twilight), as you know, is preparing for the March 11th release of her new film Red Riding Hood. And the film isn't the only thing Hardwicke is responsible for with it, either. Also of interest is an interview with Shiloh Fernandez, one of Hardwicke's top four choices for "Edward" and star of Red Riding Hood, in which he talked about the one that got away - i.e., the Twilight series.
"No one had any idea what 'Twilight' would become . . . At the time, it was just another audition. I didn't realize I was missing out on stardom and giant paychecks . . . Now, looking back on it, I certainly wouldn't have been mentally stable enough to deal with all that. Lucky for me, not getting that part led to other work that was a much better fit for me."Read the whole thing here.
"They call it feeding," said Williams, who also moonlights as an FBI consultant for investigations involving violent criminals who are claiming to be vampires. Now, that's something. Read the rest here.
On to a slightly less disturbing topic . . . or maybe just as disturbing. While at Sundance, in the attached MTV video, Judd Nelson from The Breakfast Club issued his high praise of Dakota Fanning ("Jane" in the Twilight series). Speaking of Kristen Stewart, Moviefone reports that she's in the running to portray Snow White in Snow White And The Huntsman.
What do you think of that for a next step for Kristen Stewart? It's not confirmed, by any means, but it is interesting . . .Universal Studios have been developing the production of Snow White and the Huntsman for some time and were initially thought to have wanted a lower profile actress in the lead. After screen testing the likes of Riley Keogh (Elvis Presley's granddaughter), it seems that Stewart is close to getting the part . . . This new Snow White movie will apparently focus more on the kind hearted huntsman, who is hired by the queen to go into the woods and kill Snow White. There has been no mention of whether the film will resurrect the dormant careers of the seven dwarves.
Finally, there are a few (yes, yes) The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn upates to attend to.
First of all, even more discussion of the wedding has come about, but my response to that remains the same: maybe. There's no way to know at this time absent photographs, cast tweets, or something similar.

Peter Facinelli Goes to Bat for Bo
Hey Everyone,
Peter Talks about his new project Bo.
Thanks to our Elite Affie Twilight Lexicon For The Tip! Enjoy!
Unlike mega blockbusters done by studios, most directors have to struggle for everything they get. They then take a film on the festival circuit in the hopes that someone picks it up for distribution. So do you think Peter made a good pitch?
"BO" is a character-driven ensemble piece that tracks multiple stories within an Italian-American family unit and its respective relationships, over the course of a few summer days in New York. These interweaved tales revolve around familial patriarch Tomasino 'Bo' Bonifacci, and deal with themes of generational bond, fathers and estranged sons, cooking, food celebrity, the fishing life, sibling dynamics, unfaithful love, friendship loyalty, and letting go of the past. At times both heartfelt and comedic in its specificity, this richly textured journey offers detailed characterizations, and addresses universal themes - providing an impactful emotional experience for anyone who has ever dealt with the trials and tribulations of our human need for famiglia.

'Breaking Dawn' Star Peter Facinelli Says Shooting Final Scene Was 'Sad'
'Breaking Dawn' Star Peter Facinelli Says Shooting Final Scene Was 'Sad'. Source Via @lolamisweetlove.
'It got a little melancholy,' the actor said of the recently filmed last scene of 'The Twilight Saga' finale.
Production on the two parts of "Breaking Dawn" is expected to stretch well into April, with the cast eventually departing Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to finish up shooting on the final "Twilight Saga" films in Vancouver, Canada. But whereas the makers of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" chose to save that franchise's final scene until the very end of production, the "Breaking Dawn" cast has already shot the last scene of their finale film — and it apparently was a pretty gloomy experience.
Movie Trailers - Movies Blog
"The other day when we shot that ending sequence, we knew that was the ending of the last two movies and it got a little melancholy," Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen, told us on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Sunday. "It was sad."
While the 37-year-old actor wouldn't delve into detail about the scene — "Lots of vampires," he teased — Robert Pattinson, also walking the Globes carpet, dished about the lengthy climax toward the end of "Breaking Dawn, Part 2." "There's like a 27-minute sequence in the final sequence, and it takes forever to shoot," he revealed. "There's about 75 people in it. Being on a piece of fake snow surrounded by green screen for like a month, it's driving me absolutely insane."
Facinelli, too, admitted that filming the final fight has meant the cast must suffer through a "brutal" production schedule, but he credited director Bill Condon with creating a calm, creative working environment.
"Bill Condon's fantastic," he said. "He's such a great actors' director. He's really collaborative. He's a joy to work with. He's very relaxed all the time. You never see him sweat."
Contact lenses `make Twilight characters statuesque`
The characters in the Twilight films truly come to life once their contact lenses have been put in, according to one star of the movies.
Peter Facinelli, who portrays Carlisle Cullen in the films, said that the actors who play the roles of Stephanie Meyer's characters take on a new dimension once the contact lenses go in.
Speaking on the red carpet at the Golden Globes ceremony on Sunday night, he told MTV that Bella Swan's transformation into a vampire in Breaking Dawn is assisted by the lenses.
"She's doing really well. She looks fantastic. For some reason, once they put those contact lenses in, you look very statuesque," Facinelli said.
Last year, Robert Pattinson revealed that inserting the contact lenses to play the part of Edward Cullen, Carlisle's son in the movies, helps him to get into the right mood to play the character - that of a brooding bloodsucker.
