"BO" is a character-driven ensemble piece that tracks multiple stories within an Italian-American family unit and its respective relationships, over the course of a few summer days in New York. “HollywoodChicago.com: How do your early days as a dancer help you to navigate the rigors of show business?

Julia Jones: The first thing that comes to mind is the discipline, there is nothing more emotionally, physically and mentally demanding then ballet. You have to push yourself so far as an actor, and you have to deal with a harsh reality, like people being mean to you, and my Russian ballet teachers were really good training for that. [laughs]

HollywoodChicago.com: What has been the most surreal element of being put into The Twilight Saga spotlight?

Jones: For me, just how fast everything changed. I feel sometimes like I’m on a low-grade drug all the time. It’s just that my new reality is different, there is so much more energy hurled at you on a daily basis than before.”

The Last Airbender star, Jackson Rathbone tells NG Kids about his new film!

NG Kids The Last Airbender movie is based on the Nickelodeon series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. What was it like playing a cartoon character?
Jackson Rathbone I was a fan of the Nickelodeon series, so I was excited about bringing an animated show to life – the mix of martial arts, fantasy elements, and family bond. It was months of training and getting to know my incredible cast and crew, who could ask for more?!

NGK Your character, Sokka, can’t ‘bend’ like his sister, Katara. Which element would be the coolest to ‘bend’ in real life?
Jackson Water! It’s the most common element on our earth and in our bodies.
NGK What was it like working with Nicola Peltz (who plays Katara) and Noah Ringer (who plays Aang)?
Jackson They’re both really great! It was amazing to watch them grow as actors, people, and martial artists. I learned a lot from them and I hope they did from me. I feel like Nicola is truly a little sister and Noah could be the little brother I never had!
NGK What was it like shooting the start of the film in Greenland?
Jackson It was freezing! But we had a great time in the cold – snowball fights, body sledding, and waking up to the most serene landscape with the sun slowly spreading across ice. I loved it!
NGK What was the hardest thing about filming in Greenland?
Jackson Hands down, the most challenging part of filming in Greenland was simply walking without falling down in scenes. It’s so icy there!
NGK How did working on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse help you prepare for your scenes in The Last Airbender?
Jackson I actually trained and filmed The Last Airbender a few months before beginning Eclipse. So it was the other way around! The greatest thing I learned is how to keep in control while fighting for the screen.

Fourteen-year-old girls everywhere know him as Jasper Hale from the Twilight films, butJACKSON RATHBONE will not be satisfied with a single franchise. This month, the 25-year-old actor and musician stars as Sokka in The Last Airbender, the first of a planned trilogy based on the popular Nickelodeon animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender.  Directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense), the film is an eye-singeing 3D fantasy-headache featuring dragon oracles, sprawling martial arts battles and small children who can move oceans with their minds. AP recently spoke with Rathbone about stick-fighting, the Who and his own band, 100 Monkeys.

 Was working with M. Night Shyamalan different than you expected?

I don’t know what my expectations were, necessarily. I was just excited to be a part of this film. Getting to work with Night was very exciting—I’ve always been in admiration of the kind of longer shots he uses in his films. It’s a very Kubrickian style that seems kind of lost in mainstream films these days. But with Night’s films, it’s very prevalent. One of the scenes I was most excited about was this scene with two cameras that was just one long take. And that to me is incredible. I love doing long scenes where the cameras just roll and the actors can go with it.

Elmulticine.com: How would you define your character of Emmett?

Kellan Lutz: The older brother is there to protect your family, and together with his superhuman strength, appreciate what is known invincible and face things with a smile, because when you’re not afraid of anything, you can enjoy it more.

EM: What can you say about your character in these parts of the saga, Breaking Dawn?

KL: Emmett’s character will become more relevant, as it happens in the book, and opened a little door that will allow us to see how Emmett is.

EM: How do you manage as an actor to play the same character with four different directors?

KL: You know, to me that I love. As actors we are expanding these characters we play and it is a continuous creation, so when it comes to a head again, he’ll adding and adding elements, until we know the character perfectly.

EM: And regarding the last director of the saga with which you start rolling, Bill Condon, Do you know anything about him?

KL: I love his work, I’ve seen all his movies and I really look forward to meeting him and the great team working with him, I’m really looking forward to working with him.

EM: You started as a television actor, and then you went to the movies. What are the differences between these two?

KL: Yes, the truth is that the differences are huge, television is much faster, the movies are timeless, a film can take you a year, and sometimes even not be released. I’ve shot films in fact have not even been released yet. Personally, I love the film medium, it gives you the opportunity to try many characters, continually transform, but TV is fun, I love working with HBO, which has broken new ground on TV.

EM: After filming “Breaking Dawn” and end the Twilight Saga, “miss the saga or feel some relief?

KL: Oh, I miss completely, because it was a very influential time in my life has been such a blessing that I think I still take years to realize that I have been part of this. I love it, it has opened so many doors that allow me to continue to choose other great projects …

EM: Let’s change the subject. What can you tell us about your charity project “St Bernard Project”?

KL: Yes, a project that attempts to rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina in Louisiana, and is an incredible organization we build and improve the lives of that community, and you can work to help the many families there is still need, and help with over a hundred houses to be rebuilt with families who need help and assistance. You can donate your money, your time, make yourself heard, all there is welcome.

EM: Do you think that famous people like you should contribute to these charitable causes?

KL: Well, I encourage every person to do it, that is what humanity does not turn its back on the devastation, actively trying to help, and a great thing to be in the spotlight, to have the good fortune participate in “Twilight”, is to have more influence by your voice heard and to reach more people. For example, via Twitter to educate people and raising awareness of cruelty to animals. I am therefore in a position where people can hear me, and really encourage the actors, and indeed the whole world although it is not, to lend a hand and offering assistance as possible.

EM: What can you tell us about your new film “Inmmortals?

KL: Yes, I am very very proud of this film. It’s been a dream to work with the director, Tarsem. He is a very visual director and visionary, someone who has directed films like “The Cell” or “The Fall.” It’s great to work with Greek mythology, which I love, and to understand to a god that I like, like Poseidon. And with a great cast, Mickey Rourke, Henry Cavill, Luke Evans and Stephen Dorff, John Hurt. It is a truly epic deal, is one of my favorite projects from which I participated, and I’m really looking forward to the premiere.

EM: You said that you love Greek mythology, and since the new release of “Clash of the Titans” it is even more present. Why do you think this trend has emerged in Hollywood?

KL: I think it goes a bit like vampires. See “Twilight” opened the door and now “True Blood” and “The Vampire Diaries” and other great movies and series that follow them. History repeats itself, and now they are epic and mythological stories. Who knows what will come next? Aliens, angels and demons? Everything is a cycle, and it’s really interesting to see how the industry reinvents itself every once in various genres.

EM: And now it seems that you are getting used to playing immortal … Would you live forever if you could?

KL : No, not in real life. I think the pleasure in life is to know that can be terminated at any time, and therefore you should enjoy to go and make things happen, not waiting for them to happen. I’d be a vampire, but not live forever. I would like to see different times and gain more knowledge, but I think the beauty of being human is that there is a final.
