Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani an Indian Twilight?
via @TwilightLexicon via Source & Source
According to Reel Bollywood.com,
“The Indian supernatural television series ‘Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani’ is churning out more excitement with each passing episode and with it also moving away from the incidents described in Stephenie Meyer’s novels which serve as the inspiration for this supernatural love story between a vampire and a normal human being.”
A quick Google on the words “Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani” and “Twilight” and you get a Wikipedia entry that states,
P.S: living in the neighboring country, we also sometimes get the access of some Indian Channels and i have seen some of the episodes of the show and unfortunately (i am not going to sugar cote it as a hard core Stephenie's Twilight fan) it sucks.. but its just a personal view. If you have seen it and think otherwise do share with us.:)

Billy Burke talks about the 'Twilight' ride and 'Drive Angry'
Kalispera from Athens!
HitFix Gregory took and interview from Billy Burke and AmandaAmanda Bell aka the Twilight Examiner wrote an entry about it!

Well, in a new interview with HitFix's Gregory Ellwood, Billy Burke ("Charlie Swan" in the Twilight series) talked about that very thing.
"It’s been a great gig for me. Let’s face it. I’ve been hanging around in this biz for 19 years now, and the advent of those movies has certainly shed a different light on where I’m at, and has pushed it into a different place. So I got nothing but love and respect for those movies, and for that character and for all the people who make the movies. For me, it’s kind of like showing up on a television show set, because I go back every time and kind of put the same clothes on and get into the same groove, and it’s very comfortable," he said of the Twilight series films.
Burke also weighed in on the studio's decision to split filming locations for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn between Lousiana and Vancouver, saying "We’re going to do some exteriors in Vancouver, and I hear they’re thinking about Louisiana for some stage stuff."
Burke went on to talk about his newest project, Drive Angry 3D (also distributed by Summit Entertainment), revealing that his character is one tough cookie. "He’s got a vision and he feels right. And there’s nothing…As one of the lines in the movie says, 'there’s nothing more dangerous than a righteous man with an idea,'" he explained.
Drive Angry 3D comes out on February 11, 2011.

Esquire Magazine Questions America’s Obsession with Wimpy Men
Twenty-first century men with money might just be the luckiest group in the history of the world, but a casual glance across pop culture (from Glenn Beck crying to, especially this week, John Mayer moaning) would give the impression that they’re an oppressed underclass, barely able to find enough to eat. Everywhere you look, sheep are begging and baaing for your empathy and, if you can spare it, your sympathy, but a closer look reveals rough fur and claws under all that sheep’s clothing. These self-styled wimps, the ostentatiously meek, are inheriting the earth, with vulnerability becoming the definitive, and most profitable, affectation of our time.
Robert Pattinson and Michael Cera have become the foremost leading men of their generation by becoming, respectively, the serious and comic aspects of the same projection of weakness. Pattinson’s face, geisha pale, reminds me of an elaborate piece of modernist pottery. Between performances as the feyest vampire of all time, he’s now starring in Remember Me, tortured-rebel claptrap of the most treacly variety. “I’m undecided,” his character says at one point. “About what?” his beloved asks. “Everything.” Sigh.

Twilight To Be Taught in Cambridge Literature Class
According to Geeko System, the Twilight series will be studied at a Cambridge literature class:
sourceProfessor Maria Nikolajeva, who will be the centre’s first director, said it was important to get an understanding of what was influencing young people.
She said: “It’s easy to say that these things are just kids’ fashions or that they’re trash, but I don’t believe that’s good enough.
“If what we regard as trash is popular with young people, we need to know why and whether, as researchers and teachers, we can offer them something that addresses the same needs but also deals with these themes in a critical and ethical way.”
She added many trainee teachers did not understand the significance of the latest children’s books or films when they went into the classroom.
“Studying this can help us deal with questions which are important not only for the children themselves, but for adults as well,” she added.
