A Shopaholics View of the NEW Hot Topic Merchandise

Today we got totally inundated with New Moon merchandise which is usually a good thing but on a limited budget, what the heck should we buy first? I am going to break down the items I think will sell out and will be the sought after items and also talk about what else is needed. I am a self proclaimed shopaholic and I hope this blog helps you choose your items wisely.

The first items that really caught my eye was of course the Jacob items. New Moon is the beginning of Jacob really taking over in the series. So I was most looking forward to what they were going to do with the golden colors. They aren't my favorite colors to wear but I am impressed with what I see so far.

I most enjoy the pieces that have new phrases that we haven't seen before.

This bracelet is cute with the phrase "runs with wolves". Not a new phrase but the russet coloring isn't bothering me here.

Great Jacob picture....boring shirt. T-shirt wise so far I think the Jacob shirts are lacking. Hopefully more shirts are coming out before the movie opens. Not worth the buy in my opinion.

In my opinion this is the BEST Jacob shirt the debuted today. It's a great picture of Taylor and love the phrase "It's a wolf thing". On the back it has the New Moon logo.

This in my opinion is the second best Jacob shirt of the bunch. No phrase just a sexy Jacob and the wolf symbol that is slightly metallic gold. I like the shimmer....like shimmering off a wets russet wolf.

Compared to the famous Hot Topic key-chain from twilight that had a sexy Edward on one side and "I heart boys that sparkle", this key-chain sucks. It only has a picture of Jacob and NOTHING on the other side. Don't waste your money on this key-chain and wait for a better Jacob one. I awesome that when the movie comes out there will be more phrases for them to use and a good one for Jake will come out.

Love the leather Jacob trunk and I think these will go fast. With the new phrase "I'm sorry I can't be the right kind of monster for you" and the cutie Taylor on it, it's a hot buy. Great for jewelry, makeup, or junk collector. Cute for any dresser or shelf.

My FAVORITE peice of the wolf items is this wolf symbol necklace that is broken in half. Great for best friends that are "wolf girls" or for you and a boyfriend. Such a cute concept....get one now.

The Jacob Black puzzle will be around for awhile...wait til it's at Walmart cheaper.

I love the look of the wolf chunky charm bracelet and it looks great in pictures. But for $20.00 I want to see it in person and see the quality.

That concludes a look at wolf stuff and now onto Edward/Edward & Bella stuff.

I almost jumped up and down with this piece. It's Bella's Cullen crest!!! Bella in the movie series always has rings on, so is this her official Cullen crest?? The colors are interesting too. Do they mean something? If this is her official crest then we will see it again. If not, it's too cool to pass up and grab it now.

Edward Masen's ring is a MUST get today. They might only be using this ring in conjunction with New Moon. Grab this one fast. This is going to sell out. Description says "authentic wearable prop"....if that doesn't say buy me now I don't know what does.

"It never made sense for you to love me" is what this pin says. it's included and a 4 pin collection for $6.00. My heart just melted.

"What would I do without you?" ring set is adorable but I think it's okay to wait for your next paycheck for this set. At $28.00 I want it but have other items on the list that I would get before this.

I like sexy Eddie on this shirt...liked this shirt as the best.

2 more shirts....YAWN.

I like this one but the Edward is huge. I am too old for that BIG of Edward. but if i was younger I would rock it.

Zip up hoodie I like but I think it will be around awhile.
