Trilogy planned for Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron's 'Snow White and the Huntsman'

Snow White and the Huntsman may have more to overcome than just one clash with the Evil Queen. Source Via @patstewbonect.

Producer Joe Roth tells EW that he plans on making the folktale action-adventure movie into a trilogy. “It’s meant to be the first in a series of films,” he said. “This story will end, but there will be questions remaining for these three characters.”

It’s an ambitious move by the Alice in Wonderland producer, who is in a neck-and-neck competition with a rival Snow White film starring Julia Roberts. Shooting is already underway on that movie, while Roth’s film — which stars Kristen Stewart and Thor‘s Chris Hemsworth as the title characters and Charlize Theron as her wicked royal highness — begins principal photography in August.

The two movies will open roughly two-and-a-half months apart next year. Roth’s movie debuts second, on June 1, but he’s hoping audience’s will be drawn in by a Lord of the Rings-style take on the centuries-old tale.

Filming in Vancouver today - Edward's Flashbacks

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Thanks so much to Mandy's Mind for the fantastic update! Today's shoot was at the historic Vancouver Orpheum Theatre, where a flashback scene from Edward's life was filmed. The theatre has been used for numerous shows and movies filmed locally over the years and is visually appealing for the big screen because of it's architecture, elaborate decor and bold gold and red colours. The Orpheum was featured in TV series Battlestar Galactica, movie Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus and many other productions, it is also a popular theatre for symphonies, concerts and theatre productions. At last check, the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 had headed back to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to pick up filming.
As expected, they seem to have resumed production on January 3rd, Monday, and several of the castmembers have been tweeting away about what’s been going on down there in the Bayou.
According to Judi Shekoni (“Zafrina”) on January 3rd, “The party has started again!!!”
Her tweet was followed by these:
  • Janelle Froehlich: Yes! And we're back on set. I love these people.
  • Peter Facinelli ("Carlisle Cullen"): Back at work. Having my make-up applied. How many men can say that on a Monday morning.
  • Janelle Froehlich: I can't get over how good my @amadouly looks today.
  • Amadou Ly: Fun day on set.
  • Marlane Barnes (“Maggie”): I can't think of a better way to start the year than making a movie w great folks!
Then, yesterday the following tweets about filming were shared:
  • Amadou Ly: Ready to go on set. The crew members are amazing. I couldnt ask for more. Have a great day everyone.
  • Janelle Froehlich: I am most looking forward to seeing the covens come to life...
  • Mia Maestro (“Carmen”): The question is how much fake snow these lungs can take....
  • Andrea Gabriel (“Kebi”): Back on Louisiana soil. Psyched to see my vampy friends and get back to work on this puppy.
  • Cameron Bright (“Alec”): Day 2 of filming in 2011. All is well. Huge sequence we are filming over the next few weeks. Very hot on set today. Can't tell you any more about it. Sorry.
  • Jamie Campbell Bower (“Caius”): Its full steam ahead. The rain is nice. X
  • Marlane Barnes (“Maggie”): Tea with lemon and galoshes are the only way around a rainy humid winter day.
  • Janelle Froehlich: I have to say... My hat off to our wardrobe and make-up artists. Everyone looks amazing.
  • Erik Odom (“Peter”): Swampy bayou
  • Janelle Froehlich: We are all wearing galoshes today. Mine are bright yellow. Loving it! Although it does feel like we're on the set of "Deadliest Catch..."

Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart In Breaking Dawn Finale Scene

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Tweet This | Share on FaceBook

This is not a regular Source of ours so it is unknown how accurate this information is. We will update you if this is firm. JRGossip-Source.
The filming of the final installment in the vampire love story, The Twilight Saga, is well underway.
Breaking Dawn will be shown in two parts, with Part One hitting cinemas in November of 2011.
However, the finale scene is already being filmed!
Dakota Fanning, who plays Volturi vampire Jane, has been spotted on set in Louisiana (and if you’ve read the books, you’ll know that the Volturi’s don’t turn up until the end).
So far, pictures have been released frequently of Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) shooting the vampire flick – at present, the Twihards are enjoying images of Edward and Bella on their honeymoon in Brazil.
We bet that big fans of the saga, based on the hugely popular novels by Stephanie Meyer will be simultaneously excited and heartbroken at the prospect of the final scenes being shot. This is the culmination of years of build up, after all!
The last offering from Twilight Towers, Eclipse, was released on December 4th and will likely be lining the stockings of many a Twihard this Christmas.

Thanks to Alice36 for the picture. Source Via @breakingdawnmov.
This week they’ve been shooting scenes at the Cullen home as Bella is very, very ill. Yesterday they both had the day off. He named all the freckles on her body and wrote a poem for each one. Today they’re back on set for a scene from Breaking Dawn Part 2, a vampire bonfire and sharing war stories. Next week they work 3 days in the field with the Cullens and the bad vampires. Then beginning December 23, they’re off for the holiday break. They continue to shoot the battle for a week when production resumes in January.

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn' filming rumors/updates

Share Your Thoughts (0)

Tweet This | Share on FaceBook

Right now, the Breaking Dawn filming process is a bit of a mystery for Twilight fans. As you know, the set is fortified, practically, and access is very very limited. The most official thing we've gotten is a set photo of Kristen Stewart's hand from Bill Condon . . . and a few cast tweets here and there. Thanks to our Elite Affiliate TwiExaminer for the report! Source Via @twiexaminer.
So, here is a run-down of the latest unofficial news/rumors about Breaking Dawn's production.
Please note, in advance, that none of this is confirmed by the studio or any representatives of the film, so take it for what it is.
Also, do note that there are some major potential spoilers involved with some of these links, so if you want to keep un-spoiled for the film (in the case that the information is correct), read no further and certainly do not click the posts linked.
Okay, for starters, there is some indication that the scene with "J. Jenks" at the restaurant was filmed recently. Read all about that here. Others report that Mackenzie Foy has also done some work on the set, portraying "Renesmee Cullen" already, alongisde Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Third, a lot of readers here have sent in a discussion report done by Lainey Gossip about the Breaking Dawn scripts/production process. The idea presented there is that Breaking Dawn will include a look at a real fight scene rather than the face-to-face, relatively non-violent showdown presented in the novel Breaking Dawn. Emphasis, there, is placed upon the fact that fans will "see" such a thing. To me, this means "Alice" will probably have some vision about a catastrophy and it'll play out on-screen in a way that was not possible in the book. There's simply no way the characters will be (actually) harmed in the story when they all walked away unscathed in the book, so don't worry.
Finally, there have been a few new cast tweets worth mentioning.
This one's from Cameron Bright ("Alec"): "Went to set today with Charlie [Bewley ("Demetri")], Daniel [Cudmore ("Felix")] and Christopher [Heyerdahl ("Marcus")]. We had dinner with the crew, then met with Hair, Makeup, and Director to discuss options." He had also remarked on his Breaking Dawn wardrobe a couple of day back, saying "Holy wardrobe Batman! Wait til you all see this movie."
Another comes from Daniel Cudmore: "Saw some old faces and met some new ones on set today....itsa gona be a good wun!!"
As noted earlier, Dakota Fanning ("Jane") was spotted at LAX today, presumably heading to join her co-stars on the set.
And that's about all there is for now. Filming is scheduled to continue through the winter holidays and into the early spring in Baton Rouge, so hopefully more information will come out soon enough.

Breaking Dawn Set Broken Into By Brazilian TV Crew

Hey Everyone,
From the morning I found out about the trespassing but I didn't want to say anything...
There are some thing we post and other things we don't...
That video is surely not in our Posting List...

Our Elite Affie Twilight Lexicon says everything I wanted to say...

Via @TwilightLexicon Via @TwilightPoison From @ssl_riofilme

The Brazilian TV show Panico somehow managed to get by the the barriers set up at the Isle Esme location and film a bit of what went on inside the house at Ilse Esme, via hidden camera. According to Sérgio Sá Leitão, the president of Rio Filme, the group did not halt production. There was also a brief incident with a helicopter that buzzed the set that caused a slight delay due to the noise.
The video has been pulled down, though there are some still shot popping up around the Internet. Since the footage was obtained by trespassing we are not running the footage. Footage obtained standing behind a barrier is one thing, but actually crashing a set with a hidden camera is another.
Twilight Poison has full coverage of the incident including a history of the Panico TV show and how crashing events is what they do.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the Beach at Isle Esme Location

Well, you knew they didn’t truck all that extra sand in for nothing! We are going to put these below a spoiler cut. It’ s not a huge plot reveal, but since it’s Isle Esme, an actual filmed moment, and some people are trying to stay spoiler free, it’s under a spoiler cut.
Thanks to our Elite Affiliate Twilight Lexicon for the tip! All images from Ego and IG via @Foforks via @TwilightLexicon.
SPOILERS do not click if you don't want to see more :)
More photos over at EGO.
IG also has a photo collection of earlier filming where Rob and Kristen are seen playing chess. Twilight had the scene where the book cover was mimicked in the “edible art” section in the cafeteria. Neither New Moon nor Eclipse had a homage to the book covers. This is a great return with the last movie to pay tribute to the chess based book cover.
More photos over at IG.
**UPDATED**
SPOILERS do not read on or click if you don't want to see more :)
A couple of days ago Rob and Kristen shot at a location with a waterfall. Today there are shots of that as well as a second day in front of the Isle Esme location. Thanks again to Lexicon for the tip! Via @twilightlexicon Via @blogtwibrasil.
Kristen is clearly wearing two different swim suits and Robert looks like he’s wearing swim trunks in one and…well…his Calvins in another. Maybe they are meshing the two scenes together and you don’t see much of the suits in the Isle Esme section because they are in the water?

Breaking Dawn: Filming Inside the Isle Esme House

Hey Everyone,
Here is a recap our Elite Affie Twilight Lexicon did with the help of another of our Elite Affie Blog Twi Brasil
Note that this is an edited summary so if you want the full spoilers just go HERE Enjoy!

Via @TwilightLexicon Via @BlogTwiBrasil

At 10h30 am, the actors began shooting inside the house and around  1h30 pm they were seen on the private beach, located in front of the mansion.
The movement of production employees began shortly after 8 am. Before, the weather was bad in the region with strong winds and cloudy skies. After this time, the clouds dissipated and the sun came up.”
Lexicon Sums up,
The long and short of it comes down to, as we earlier reported, with the public held at bay 200 yards off-shore and filming inside, unless they come out on the beach, no one will see a thing. Given the weather, we hope the flotilla off shore is not sea sick.
